I'm an AL team and one of my best hitting players is just the DH so playing in the National League games he's left riding the pine.    my question is simple.   What will happen if I play him at 1B?   Will this be as bad as I think it will be???  Has anyone tried this before????

I'm up 3 games to 2 and just need to win 1 of the next 2 to be crown champs!!!!

Any advice is appreciated.

There is a pretty big defensive hit playing a DH at 1B.  On the order of 20-30 minus plays per season.

My DH has a higher rated GLOVE rating then my actual 1B.   Does that help at all?     LOL

I assume you're talking about this guy.  He shouldn't hurt you that much. 

In fact, he's actually a defensive upgrade from the two guys you've platooned at first, who are really just converted catchers with very poor range and gloves for first base.

Anyone else think doggie was just saying "LOOK AT ME!!  I'M IN THE WORLD SERIES!!!" since he started his DH in RF 12 times?   Or should we assume doogie thinks 1B is a more difficult position than RF?

I have one.   Why is this on the front page of my Hamilton team?




It's been there all season and it's a bit distracting.   I've seen it a couple of time before but I can't make it go away this time.
