I just wanted to start a thread to thank the WIS folks for the kind gesture of $10 in our accounts. We love the game and its nice to know that WIS recognizes some of the challenges in keeping the game sustainable.

Ditto!

Thanks!  Hopefully the free $10 will help spur some new signups to fill those open teams

Wow, you can tell how much better HBD is just by reading the forums. I started my first season a few days back, and I'm already hooked. I'm also a GDer, and over there eveyone is complaining about not getting enough for the amount of time they "wasted" in GD. I must say, it's nice to be in this kind of environment.

The GDers are a buch of whining *******.

They admit to ignoring the site for over a year and you want to thank them?  Screw 'em.

This. I'd prefer not being neglected, not having important tickets ignored, to not be belittled by an ignorant CS member who is CLUELESS as to what the ticket even addresses, and some updates, dev chats, improvements, or at least some ******* acknowledgement. Seriously, the $10 credit is horsesh!t. We've theoretically paid $24.95 a season while they've all but openly admitted to letting the game go for a full year. How about refunding that money since there is an admission of NOT giving 100% over the last year or so. Whatever percentage you gave to your customers (i.e. 5% of the attention/work needed), is the percentage that should have been paid for these games for the last year. What a joke. I think this officially seals the end for me.

In short, they tell us they know they didn't give us what we paid for over the last year....shouldn't we expect more than a 10% (AT BEST!) refund.....the money doesn't mean jackshit to the customers you've lost. Only action, acknowledgement, and not bailing on the game for a year can prevent that. The money means nothing, now. Customer Service, HBD, WiS, etc. slipped too far into disrepair for some.

Too little, too late. Massive FAIL on WiS and anyone buying this B.S. of theirs now. If they were interested in being as loyal to you as you are to them, an occasional update as to WHY you were being flat ignored or ****** on by CS or why HBD was being ignored completely would have occured before now.

Seriously?  Did anybody FORCE you to continue spending your money here?  You have four active HBD teams.  Two of which you've been running continuously during the past year of neglect.  To get all self-righteous and indignant now while you've been actively continuing to be a paying customer seems a bit hypocritical.  And I'm guessing that you'll somehow find a way to spend the "horseshit" $10 credit they gave you.

To me, the massive FAIL is your post and your attempt be the big tough guy standing up to WIS.

Assumptions are a mother. I plan on seeking replacement commishes for the two worlds I run (the second of which I was asked to do, I was already cutting back at that point and Hot Stove was a favor to help get that team in shape.). I'll run out the current seasons, and walk. That easy. Sorry for whatever grudge you seem to hold with me, as I never understood it much. Take care and I wish you the best. Think what you want of me and my intentions. Fact is, after my seasons are done, I'm out. There are too many other options, and I really don't see things getting better.

And nobody is posturing, tec. No need to be a "tough guy" on the 'net. That's your guys' game. I wouldn't dare infringe. Just pointing out why I don't think smart fellows such as yourself, after what you've recently been through with WiS, would buy into the crap. Funny how after a few "Doom & Gloom" threads, something FINALLY gets said by Site Staff. Get real. It's been going downhill for a while, and it isn't going to change.

i think hbd has been fun.. Not sure why people are all ****** off over a $10 credit..
9/9/2011 11:37 PM
It's not the $10 credit that bothers me, it's openly admitting to (and the act of, obviously) ignoring the game and it's users concerns for a year that bothers me. Why waste the money on a declining/inferior product?
