Tea Party vs Occupiers Topic

Are the two movements, necessarily, mutually exclusive?

Or could it be possible for one to embrace BOTH movements?

Tea baggers seem to have problem with racism, where were they during 8 years of Bush?

Occupiers seem to have economic justice as their theme

They started out b!tching about the same sh!t.

The Tea Party was hijacked and steered back to the Republican base by Americans for Prosperity.

Occupy Wall Street will be/has been hijacked by the Unions and will be steered back to the Democrats.

Once again, the election will be divided on issues like guns and abortion.

Then something will happen again two years from now where people will complain about the cozy relationship between corporations, banks, lobbyists and the government and the inequities it causes.

But the people are stupid and they'll fall back into party lines because the other side is filled with idiots.

The Propaganda Media is powerful.

Given that the OWU crowd is mostly stereotyped as hippies, I'd say they were busy protesting that Iraq business.

True. Code pink, Moveon.org were busy fighting illegal war of choice.

Bush did enough damage to keep protesters busy for eons.

1 The only problem the TP has with racism is people like you calling them Racists. Things were pretty good during Bush, no one starts a revelutionw hen things are good!

2 Economic justice? What does that mean? The OWS group seems to be anti-prosperity. If you have money you stole it!

Economic Justice means "Give me some of what you worked for while I sat around smoking dope on welfare".
10/15/2011 7:42 AM
I thought dope was expensive. How do you afford that on welfare?
10/15/2011 8:41 AM
I think they give out dope for free if you are on welfare.
10/15/2011 9:41 AM
That's under Obama's jobs plan.
10/15/2011 10:18 AM
See, and you say Obama isn't creating any jobs. Aren't you ashamed?
10/15/2011 1:06 PM
Everybody knows that people on welfare steal in order to buy dope.

Isnt there a large number of "Working" ladies that do drugs?

Saw some of the Occupiers this morning camped out in Hartford.  My wife leaned over and started honking the horn to them.  A few cross words went her way from me for doing that.

Yeah, they looked like hippies.  The ones I saw needed haircuts, showers and some clean clothes.
