It's difficult to pass out the "winner/loser of the World Series" participants credits before the World Series is played and decided.

I think he meant award credits to the people who get knocked out of the playoffs as they get knocked out when he said "as the playoffs progress", so the World Series participants would get their credit after the WS

We just replaced an owner that abandoned his team near the end of the season ... should he have gotten a $4 credit? The best idea is to get rid of the 3rd and 4th place credits. They should never been put in place anyway. Tanker credits!

And if $1 makes that much difference, you probably shouldn't be spending your money on HBD anyway.

You win the coveted 'Reading Comprehension Award of the Day'!

So you're asking WIS to issue credits as follows: (a) some at the end of the regular season, (b) some at the end of the first round of the playoffs, (c) some at the end of the second round, (d) some at the end of the LCS's, and (e) the last two at the end of the World Series.

Why would they want to do this?

Really? How many credits do I get for it? And when should I receive them?

I'm not going to make fun of anybody's pocketbook, because it is what it is, but you have 3 full days post World Series to re-up.

If you can't make it in 3 days, then you can't make it in 5, or 7, or 10. If you are sitting there at the end of the season going "I'm not sure that $4 is going to be enough credit to get my team in", then it doesn't really matter when you get it.

The current set up is perfectly reasonable.

Not even this one?

Actually, if you could fit that in your pocket, I'd probably make fun of your pants

I'm not sure what you're talking about.

What I'm talking about is choosing to wait for the WS to end to re-up like the vast majority of people do, and then life happening and you're unable to visit the interwebs for 3 days. Hasn't happened to me yet, and may never, but no more complicated of a programming job than what I proposed would be, it would create a nice safety net for people.

If your life changed that much, then not reupping your team is pretty low on your list of priorities.

You want to change the process for the minority

Agreed.

In short, the "suggestion" can be rewritten as "I want FREE MONEY, and I want it NOW".

That sounds like a TV commercial.

Unless the "distributing credits process" isn't automated, I don't see why this wouldn't be a big deal.  On the off chance I get hit by a car and I'm in the hospital for 3 days, I'd be upset if I lost my team because I'm waiting for credits.  And if you don't wait for credits, this isn't an issue either way for you.

If you get hit by a car and have to be hospitalized for 3 days, you probably aren't worried about your HBD team.    Or you shouldn't be.
