So I know Wooden has the best D3 and Naismith is also very good. But I would be interested in starting in a brand new D3 conference but like the worst one and build it up to the top and hopefully draw some interest and get some other conferences full and maybe fill up a whole D3 world! I know that's pretty impossible but it would be cool.. any thoughts?

I'm looking through the worlds right now to see which seems to have the weakest D3 then I will let you know unless anyone else already knows the answer to that?

Im trying to do the same thing in iba. Im starting my first season next season, i picked up a team (Linfield) with 0 conf championships, 0 postseason games. I am excited for the challenge and hope we can pull in more people.

how many top teams are there in iba? i'm trying to determine the weakest but the only thing i can go by is how many teams are open since I'm not actually in the world..

I cant see because I dont take over my team until the next season. I wish i could figure it out, but i bet you can get a pretty good idea by how many coaches are available. I am pretty certain that they are towards the bottom of the worlds, but i dont know for sure. I am trying to get to people involved there. Alblack does a d3 dynasty rankings each season which helped my decision to join that league.

Ok so I've narrowed it down to Tarkanian, Phelan and Iba.... I still need more interest to do this, but any preferences on how many games per day? Also any preference on these leagues? And then we can figure out teams and conference and when were starting up.. Thanks

And ok qb sounds good, that may push me to do Iba over the others... I'm just gonna see what some other people wanna do

I joined the Northwest division and i believe we have 6-7 coaches in the conference this year. It will def take time to get the interest you want, but we have a topic on the forum trying to get a round robin type deal going.

Iba is the only one a day on that list...

BTW, why not start by filling up Wooden, then generating interest in another world? That way people could see it work.

True caesari you have a point there maybe that's what I'll do, it's tough in that world but could get a new conference going and slowly move it up that could work!

That could be a good idea, but what about iba being known as the top d-2 league (as i believe you know pretty well caesari). What would you think of the possibility of the top d-2 and d-3 leagues and ultimately be the top league to join?
