The best advice I can give you is to remove this post and ask for help from a mentor via sitemail.  You don't want to put your targets out in public - it's an invitation to other coaches to steal them from you.

I'm at Campbell, who is quite possibly the worst team in Division 1. Also, I replaced the names of the players, but even if someone manages to figure it out, it's not like these guys are highly-sought recruits.

Also, even if someone decided to just punk me for whatever reason, there are other recruits with similar profiles that I could target. In other words, my cost/benefit analysis is such that I think the benefit of getting multiple minds helping me think about this outweighs the potential cost.

Really need potentials to be able to help. Just put a +/- next to them to indicate it... 

You should delete this thread.  At least edit out the target players.  Believe it or not your recruiting against the ACC & Colonial conferences (along with some others).  You do not want to give away information for free.

Even with these guys not even being Top 50 guys at their positions? And with no names? I guess now that two people have said it, I'll go ahead and do it.

The Center looks really good, would be quite a snag! The SG looks like a decent player (as long as he's playing SF, although he's even a bit slow for SF). And the PG looks to be an OK player (don't really like him that much as a starting PG, unless he's high-high in DEF, BH, and PA).

its easy to sort by ovr and find these guys. posting their potential during recruiting might even be a violation of the new TOS... either way I'd remove it if i were you - no reason to let others know your intentions during recruiting. The mental game is the biggest challenge of it, not finding players...

After hearing from a few board veterans I deleted my initial post. I didn't mean to do anything that runs afoul of the new fair play rules.

I'm not sure you did, but I'm not sure it didn't either. Nothing you did was in malice certainly. Generally I encourage your POV about getting more eyes on a subject. Specific recruits however makes it tough...

You've already deleted them. but keep in mind that your not-highly-sought recruits for a (very) low D1 school might still be worthwhile targets for a middle-to-top D2 school, and you never want to invite competition on particular guys if you can avoid it (even from someone a division down).

I don't think it was a meaningful Fair Play Guidelines problem, but it could have caused another high D2 or low D1 team to go after that C who maybe couldn't see his potentials until you posted them.  Go get that C.  He's going to be very good.

Stop talking about how good the C is or someone is just going to keep an eye on who starts considering Campbell and then go steal the guy!
