How many teams/worlds are too much? Topic

Besides the obvious cost, how many teams/worlds are too much for folks? Part of the temptation here is so many choices. I've got four D3 teams at the moment and still trying to build a consistent winner and having fun.

I found if I have more than four I don't feel like I'm giving the proper attention to all of them or that things (scheduling) would fall through the cracks. So I've scaled it back to four teams and they're staggered so that one is almost always in recruiting or the off season at any particular point in time and I'm never having to double recruit. Money willing, this is probably the level I'll hold at.

I have five teams now and it's about the upper limit for me I think.  Love having multiple, and at different levels, but the obvious downsides - longer to check, multiple recruiting at the same time sometimes, etc.  Of course it makes it easier if you're smarter than me, sometimes recruting D1 and D3 at the same time makes it hard to avoid looking at horrible D1 kids or trying to pull down a kid that will never come to D3.

I was in seven up till last week when I dropped Phelan....Regretted it as soon as I did it, but am resisting the urge to go back to seven.  However, I should perhaps drop back to only five worlds just for the same seasons that rednu points out.  Not to mention the expense.  Top notch teams get more credit cash, and too many of my teams seem to be "fun" teams only.
Perhaps I can reward myself by dropping a World or two and getting more serious.  After all, WIS only rewards winners.  That goes for cash incentives, as well as job advancement.

i always found 2 serious teams was my limit, with 3-4 total.

I am in 4. I almost signed up (did sign up) for a 5th in Allen, but came to my senses and asked to be removed... Any more than 4 and I can't give them all enough attention, especially when recruiting rolls around

I have 7 teams, it may be one too many. Overall I think the nice mix of two a day and one a day makes it a little easier.

I only play the 2-a-day worlds but 2 teams is my limit and even then it gets to be a chore.  I've had 3 teams on a few different occasions and that's just a no go...it's not that it's too much work per se, I just lose interest, especially if there isn't some extraneous reason that the team/job interests me.

I could theoretically do a team in every world. 80% of the work in HD is recruiting, which boils down to 6 cycles.

I've had as many as 4, but I'm really most comfortable with only 2.  And even then I really only pay anything close to full attention to 1.  I recently realized my Rochester team had only 2 guys with practice plans that weren't all 10s.

I guess it just all depends on how much time you have in your personal life. I am running 7 teams right now and I feel like I give them all plenty of attention. Hoops Dynasty has been one of my most passionate hobbies over the years and I still cant get enough!

Was at 13, just dropped to 12.  Not that difficult once you get everything set.  Recruiting two worlds at once can be a headache though.

I have nine. It feels like it's too much to give them all my full attention, but it's not like any of my teams totally suck at this point, so it's not been a disaster either. I was feeling pretty good at five, that sixth one started getting a bit much. Also moving into two-a-day worlds made it a lot tougher. I prefer one-a-day so far.

I have two, and that is plenty (although I have 4 GD teams, so 6 in total- way too much but WIS has me hooked).
