I don't think you've done anything wrong here, dino, but put yourself in WIS's shoes.  A commish says he wants an owner out.  His reasons might be valid or not, but ultimately he's the commish of a private league.  If WIS goes against his wishes, even in cases where the commish is not acting in good faith, it sets a bad precedent.

Your recourse?  The forums.  Spread the word about your experiences in this guy's leagues.  And that's exactly what you've done.

Finally, why would you want to be in a prog like that, after everything you've said about the commish?  There are plenty of good progs with great commishes.  I'm in three of them myself, and just about every season there are openings.

I'm not sure how WIS could even force a commish to accept owners he doesn't want in his private league.  I say this while recognizing that you're already in the league, and you've spent time and money building up a contender, and deserve consideration for your investment in this team.  It sucks, but I wouldn't blame WIS for being caught between a rock and a hard place.

A lot of owners have been in the position (for whatever reason: poor health, lack of time, lack of interest, lack of finances, etc.) where they had to cut back on teams.  So they pick which teams they want to keep and which they can live without.  Just because they don't drop every team doesn't mean they're being disingenuous.
