Well, you've got to start somewhere. And no matter where you start, someone is not going to like it.
I think that the single worst part of the game is Division-1 recruiting. I think that needs the most attention and that it needs to be the next thing fixed.
LSU got Ben SImmons IRL. There is no way that LSU can get an international 5 star from Australia.
Here is the real life 2015 recruiting list:
http://247sports.com/Season/2015-Basketball/RecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool
If you look at that list, here are some things other than Simmons that stand out as impossible in HD:
Cal signed Jaylen Brown from Georgia
Arizona signed Allonzo Trier from Maryland
That is just the tip of the iceberg.
Basically, in HD Div-1, If an A+ team wants someone within 180 miles, he is going there. IRL, that is not the case very often. Also, the best team or the team with the most prestige does not always get the best players. Ben Simmons could not go to a team in HD that has made the NCAA tourney 1 time (with no wins) in 6 years.
So some of us think recruiting is a huge problem, and that nothing else matters until that is fixed.
I know not everyone feels that way.
But I quit playing and then came back because the recruiting changes were announced. If they don't make those changes, I will be very ******, and probably stop playing.
