cubcub is also correct that I have a player spreadsheet that I switched from Excel or OpenOffice to Google Sheets to look at your team vs. an opponent that has a recommend depth chart. It is based on a sheet some people may have by
Andy Berman (WIS UserID: bermanap). Andy no longer plays HD.
The way to set up this sheet is to go to the
TeamCompare Sheet and input your Team ID into Cell B1. You then use Cells A6:A17 (yellow) to list all your players as pg1, pg2, sg1, sg2, sf1, sf2, pf1, pf2, c1, c2, bn1, bn2.
Same setup for your opponents team in the
OppCompare sheet. You can use a recent play-by-play to set this for an opponent.
If you then go to the
Matchup sheet, you will see some info about both teams and some suggested settings for the matchup between the teams.
There is also a
Depth Chart sheet that shows a recommended depth chart, a
Starters sheet that shows an overview of the team (you need to set
Off Set and
Def Set at the top of the
Starters sheet page to use the
Depth Chart Sheet correctly) .. and you can make adjustments to the various ratings on the
Ranking Factors page.
Worksheet2 is just somewhere to play.
This sheet has been adjusted to work with HD3. It is for day to day operations of a team, NOT recruiting.
You can get the latest version of my sheet here:
HD3-Team-Worksheet-001 (you will have to make a copy and use it in your Google Sheets).
I am not saying the factors in Ranking Factors are accurate or this sheet is better or worse than anything anyone else is doing. This is just what I use to analyse teams and help me play. I am willing to discuss it or even make changes if people want to discuss, etc.
Note: This work is based on an original spreadsheet created by Andy Berman (WIS UserID: bermanap). Andy has been nice enough to allow me to use his work as the basis for my spreadsheet and to distribute it to anyone who wants it. Special thanks go out to Andy and if you like the spreadsheet you can donate to his paypal account “bermanap AT yahoo.com”. (No idea if that paypal still works or not.)
