It's the first day of recruiting period 2 in Smith. For some reason, I can't rescind scholarships now? I could before 8 am this morning and the World Schedule says I can for a few more days but when I go to the Manage Roster screen there's no "Rescind scholarship" to click on?

Does anybody know if there is a limit to the number of scholarships we can rescind? If someone wanted to could they rescind all of their scholarships, or is there a minimum number that the game makes us keep?

Pretty sure you could rescind all but you're limited to 6 FR recruits.

It used to be the AD would intervene if you tried to cut down to fewer than three players on the roster, but I think you could work around that by doing sign/cut/sign/cut/sign/cut to remove the final 3 if you wanted and were able to with the resources you had.

Not sure if that's still the case in 3.0 now with the split recruiting seasons and all, however.

there is a limit , when i took over UNC in tark i couldnt cut more than 1 guy , wish i could remember exactly what happened, i think its you need at least 6 scholarship players on your roster but dont quote me just know for sure there is a limit.

Thanks. I thought there was a limit but it's not something I've dealt with in a long time. I'm facing that situation right now at Oklahoma.

Almost positive I read only turned over his entire team in one season. Had to rescind a lot of schollies.

I still can't rescind them and no word on my ticket. I should have rescinded them all before 8am but nothing says you can't do it later.

Should I be able to rescind yet in tark? RS2 starts @8am tomorrow. Do I have to wait until then

Agreed Mike, good idea! I cleared my cache's earlier today so I covered that. They responded to my ticket with a copy & paste below. It makes me wonder if my renewal status has something to do with it? Before 8am I had one available season left and hadn't renewed yet and could rescind scholarships but then I renewed (which left me with 0 "available" seasons ) after that to avoid a problem and the $&%# problem came up then. I just bought more seasons even though I shouldn't have to if I've renewed but we'll see if that helps. It didn't immediately help, maybe after they process at 11? Thanks for your ongoing help!

Fyi- the ticket response was"A player's scholarship can be rescinded anytime after the conclusion of the job change period, and prior to signings starting during the following recruiting period. Note that you must have seasons remaining on your account before you can rescind a scholarship."

It's fixed now. You have to have "Available seasons" to rescind scholarships. I knew that but I took my last available season to renew for next year, which I considered to be the same thing or have the same effect as having an available season but it doesn't. I bought some more seasons and everything corrected itself. Thanks for your help!
