I've spent five seasons spinning my wheels at Purdue in Wooden. I just signed my best recruit, a 4-star SF from Missouri. In my excitement, I called him to congratulate he and his family on making a "fantastic decision for his future" and joked I was popping champagne and buying a stack of scratch-offs.

He's thinking about decommitting.

One of the better 6 WE players I've seen in a while. That Staffey guy Benis got may be the only better one.

I do have to admit here there is a slight wonder why you recruited the player to be honest? 6 WE really? You need to find guys that will grow he WILL NOT GROW. Check out my blog and read up on everything I have learned from some of the best in this game. The recruit stars mean NOTHING, absolutely nothing in this game.

This will help you a ton in recruiting efforts and get higher quality recruits that will end up being way better than the guy you just recruited.

The dude is a ******* stud. Pallas will start him 4 years, put 20 minutes in conditioning, per, Bh, pa. His SF stats are so well developed that they can drop by 20 and be acceptable.

Arreguin started on 4, count them, 1, 2, 3, 4 Sweet 16 teams. Morrow is far better than him.

I agree with all of you, I am just saying that he will max out Senior year with a WE of what maybe a 30 or 40. He will not grow as much as he could be in the long term. Know what I mean?

I never said anything about his actual skills as a player. I would just personally steer clear to get a guy maybe 610 overall with similar skills with a higher WE and have a player, in the long run, be better.

I think that Morrow will be better in the long run. 6 WE will grow to 20 or so by the end of his career.

Pallas should get two decent seasons from him and two elite seasons.

His we will grow 2,3 a season, maybe he finishes at 15. He will not get negative stats in the long run.

If I remember -- or if anyone even cares -- I'll post again when he's a senior, see where he ended up.

I agree his WE is really low, but that's probably what gave me the opportunity to land him. My Purdue prestige isn't scaring anyone away.

6 is pretty low for a guy whose cores are only ok. I don’t see potential, but with low WE players, high potential is fool’s gold. He’ll never get there, not even close. He’s not an elite player in D1, no shot. He’s passable, I’m not saying I wouldn’t recruit him; but this is the kind of player I take when I have to, then hope I get someone better next year.

Yeah he's an elite DI player. He would start for me on Sweet 16 teams by the time he's a senior. He's a freshman that comes in knowing my defense with 92 DE? Hell yeah. Blue ath pa Green per bh.

They should each grow 10-20 a piece. You know that guy I posted for Idaho State everyone said yes to? Those are my projected final ratings for Morrow. I should note that those ratings are maybe even a bit under because I used Eugene Arreguin, who I did not start Sophomore year.
