I doubt it. It can be done at Low D1 without question.

That said, it probably depends on what you consider "playable" and how long you're willing to wait til they're "playable".

It’s defiantly possible if you get lucky. I will usually get the same amount of dice rolls that I have open scholarships, but I don’t win them. If one season I got super lucky I would have a full roster.

It's about rolls yeah, we get to them and if they all go our way, it seems possible but say you get ees second session...

As for waiting for players, low D1 will put minutes and start on most of these players so it makes it tough to manoeuver through all of this.

Mike : not a negative thread, just want to see what others are doing.

The philosophy I use at D1 is if a player is good enough to play and I can sign him, I do.
I am pretty sure some coaches intentionally leave a walk on or two each season, and that is also a sound strategy for the extra recruiting dollars, but I don't.

I would say I fill my scholarships around 50% of the time.

Wasn't being negative. You asked a question. I pointed out that the #1 D1 teams in both my worlds signed 12 guys. That's an answer. If you think it's negative, it's because you don't like the answer.

I liked your answer, I went to check these teams. I have a hard time filling my schollies at Clemson but it could be an ACC, location thing.

I always fill my UNLV teams...I know my strategy probably sucks but I try to have four classes of 3 so that I dont need to rely on Fresh or Sophs, I always have 3 Srs and 3 Jrs to start and then when they graduate the next group steps in. I redshirted someone a season ago so that kind of messed my system up but I'll get back to it.

edit, nevermind...Im not High D1

"Shoe : please don't say anything."

So, this wasn't a serious thread from the start.
