Sorry, I wanted to put the good view of him on there. I am in a complete rebuild so I am running 18/18 scouting and 0 for advanced scouting. So I have to make notes on all draft picks and IFA. This is what I was looking at when I drafted him.

I am hopping he will stay on the field and play good defense while hitting 25HR a year.

Just don't hope for batting average. I know most owners are going to puke looking at that VsR but I got some decent run out of Alex Morton, whose VsR never went above 13. And in case you wonder why I'd ever draft him in the first round, it was a weak year and he looked like a potential SS. Never quite got there, but he was a GG 3B.

Those HS projections aren't way off. The critical overprojections for this guy are contact and durability; he'll be lucky to get to 70 DUR. So he can only play 110-120 games, and you'll want to pair him with a platoon partner who can hit righties.

With that arm, he's not terrible against RHP, just not durable enough to start every day and much worse against RHP than LHP.

I did not add the player card because its almost irrelevant. Like I said above I have zero in advanced scouting. The only good look was my 18 in HS scouting when I drafted him.

Oops, I was unclear... I posted the player card not for the projections, which we can't see anyway, but for the current ratings. Current ratings are never irrelevant... development is pretty predictable as a function of current ratings, age, and number of pro seasons.

@dedelman I get it now. You can see some of his ratings are to high based on how low his starting number are. This is a crazy game. All these years and I never really dig into that side of this.

Looking at this now I can see that Don Park. The guy I just drafted at #3 over all. Has a real shot at being a all star player.

Screw "All-Star." That's a Hall of Fame bat in the making. He's a second-division starting RF right now, and at his peak his average season will be about .300/.400/.600. One season or two he'll go off, hit .340 and win an MVP going away. Nice pick.

The park guy is legit. I didnt look at your team but he can play in ml now. The other guy I dought his pc ever gets high enough to be offsetted by his bat.

You shouldn't use this guy vR, you're just wasting those at bats. Find someone better vR and platoon this guy vL

Agree on the catcher - he’s a platoon guy with a good eye/power.

But Don Park! Wow. Enjoy the ride with that guy!

What do you guys think Don Park will max out as?

Thoughts on this guy? The health rating is bothersome, but I'm thinking with a little luck he becomes a monster.
