This record is harder than it looks....18 consecutive seasons leading your team in batting average, homers or runs batted in...or wins, ERA or strikeouts...not many to do it that many times in a career. 18 consecutive? That's a tall order...this might take a while to break, if ever...

Not Cy Young. Led his team in wins 1891 through 1904. 1905 Tannehill had more than Young for Boston...
