The We Ain't Dead Yet Progressive League started with the 1969 season back in 2004. We caught up to the present day in 2015 and now play one season per year. We now have a number of openings for the 2019 season so here's your chance to join one of the oldest still running progressives on WIS.

The WADY is a pretty standard progressive. The draft order is set Game 162 starting with reverse order ranking by win-loss record with a requirement of at least 40 wins by Game 162 to quality for one of the first five picks in Round 1. There is also a requirement to maintain at least 1200 IPs on the pitching staff throughout the season. Failure to do so results in a drop of 5 draft slots in Round 1.

Following the Regular Draft, there will be an 8 round draft from the list of the remaining players/pitchers not selected in the Regular Draft…you may draft up to 4 pitchers and 4 position players in this draft…for each pitcher/position player less than 4, you will be assigned a below average sim-generated AAA pitcher/position player. You may not use the computer generated pitchers in the simulated games but you may use them for the purpose of balancing in-season trades to create roster openings

There are no use restrictions for these “AAA pitchers/position players,”they may be listed as keepers for the following season but count as 1 of your 25 maximum keepers, they may also be listed as IR if they do not have a WIS record for the following season

DH in the AL, no DH in the NL

I'll post the available rosters in a moment. Gonoles777 is the commish so feel free to sitemail him or myself with interest or questions.

Very enjoyable league, and allows you to get a feel for the just-completed season for those of you who play other progressives and could soon be drafting today's stars.

Solid league that’s been around a long time.

Need some new owners.

How about an old new owner.
For those of you from earlier days here I was semi famous for taking Doug Drabek over Greg Maddux for the number one pick. Instead of looking at availables I searched for first year pitchers. I only looked at top 50. Maddux doesn’t show up until page 2. Talk about wanting a do over.

i will be back with my team pick in a few minutes
