Has anyone else seen an uptick in injuries. I have between two teams had 5 + ml pitchers go down with long term injuries. It is enough to want to quit the game!

Agree with Shobob. I actually have felt the opposite. I think injuries are quite rare in this game.

I guess it is just my bad luck. Had another ml sp go down yesterday. I keep 20/20 in med and training and never pitch a guy below 100.

Definitely could see how that would get frustrating.

Had 2 of my top 3 prospects that signed this season get injured. Crazy thing is the 3rd one was the one with 39 HEA.

Last season, my first round pick - 10th overall - went down for elbow surgery in his final start of the season. 77 Health rating. Ticked me off for about a day, but then I realized it's only the second time it's happened in 47 seasons.

Honestly its a fake game that we pay for they should do away with any long term injuries.

I one World, over the course of about 170 games between two seasons, I had my first round pick from season 41 go down with a major injury, my first round pick from season 42 go down with a major injury and my 20M+ Intl signing from season 42 go down with a major injury. They all went down in either their first or second year and this is significant because those first two seasons are the most crucial from a development perspective.

injuries suck overall, but they suck even more when they happen to prospects. Especially the top three prospects in your entire system that were all early in the early stages of development.

Also, all this happened when I am an owner that manually manages his minors and i make sure to have my true prospect pitchers in a low inning relief role and my true prospect hitters only play about 3-5 innings per game. So the simmy really F'd me over. Even if all of these guys had a health rating of under 50, what are the chances that ALL THREE of them have major injuries during their first or second year as a pro? i would say the chances are slim to none. However, despite one player having a 58 health, another having 81 health and the third player having a 31 health rating, they all got hit with development-affecting injuries.

Well, maybe it's not for everyone, but I don't mind a LITTLE realism. They're not exactly pulling "young staff ace goes on a cocaine bender and drives his speedboat into a jetty" here. Or "first round pick gets destroyed in a bar fight before he ever plays a game." Or "best hitter ever goes cuckoo for heroin."

I haven't noticed an uptick necessarily, but probably saw my most serious injury. CF prospect lost 17 in range. I’ve got 20/20, and his health rating isn’t bad. Wasn’t a super prospect, but definitely an ML future

Turned him into an under performing LF in a heartbeat. Sorry about the loss.

My minor leagues have taken an unusual beating over the last couple of weeks....in comparison to normal

Yes definitely! In 5 of my 8 teams, I lost a SP to devastating injuries. 3 occurred the same day! One was a top prospect, a definite superstar, that I just brought up to the majors. He will never be the same. And all this happened with a average training of 18-20.
