UCLA Professor Suspended Topic

How can you possibly defend this? A longtime UCLA Professor has been suspended (and is under police protection) for refusing to extend exams for black students in the wake of George Floyd. Has the whole world gone mad?
How is this in anyway justified? I have so little hope for what the future holds.

We thought you were “done starting threads.”

You’re just another right wing HYPOCRITE on these boards under a different name.

More phony outrage!

How is this phony outrage? A professor of 39 years suspended because he does not make special allowances for students based on their skin color? What the hell happened to left and how is this ok???

We are coming for you.

I do not see how any rational person can defend this. Which, of course, does not preclude RSP from doing so.

This does sound outrageous to me.
IF I have the full story, this is a clear example of (somewhat) advantaged black students trying to take advantage of a serious national issue of divisiveness for personal gain or advantage. Shame on them black Snowflakes!

They have no excuse for some delay in their obligation any more than the white or Asian (or Latino) students!
In LA, all were impacted evenly.
No particular color deserves ANY delay of their obligation.

On what grounds was this Professor suspended?
He should file a lawsuit!

Nobody is looking to defend anything. We now act in the open for all to see.

This isn't about renaming streets or knocking down statues. This isn't about justice or reform. This isn't about antifascism or antiracism. This is about antiyou. Everyone has one comment in their past that we can distort into something offensive. If we can't find one from your past, we'll create one in your future. The next time you say hello, we have you. Hello comes from Old High German, which in turn was influenced by Old High French. Both are white languages, racist and oppressive languages, languages of the petite bourgeoisie that we will destroy.

Next time you say "Hello," we will label you as a white language supremacist and destroy your ability to earn a living.

You are completely wrong. What this is evidence of is another example of institutional and systemic racism. An old white straight male professor pretending like trauma does not exist. Pretending like the black community is not in danger everyday from a corrupt system. These students should have been exempted from the exam. It is LITERALLY the least this "professor" could have done considering the national circumstances.

Just the Black students??

You don't see the hypocrisy and reverse racism in such a policy?
Really?
6/10/2020 9:34 AM
I do not see the reverse racism in such a policy because reverse racism does not and cannot exist. It is a word white people use when they are upset that not absolutely everything is going their way.

You sure make a case for Black College students to be the most weak minded, mentally tenuous, emotional babies on Earth. Just what other "trauma" do you believe would warrant a waiver from their educational obligations?

Wow, coreander, you really are nuttier than a Snickers.
You're soooooooo far left, I don't think you can even see the middle, let alone the right.
I guess you think this was Ok too, right?

Long time Kings broadcaster Grant Napear was relieved of his duties at a radio station and stepped down from his position with the Kings after a Twitter interaction with former King DeMarcus Cousins in which he responded to Boogie with 'All Lives Matter..Every Single One!' when asked his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement.

Isn't making all lives matter equally exactly what we should all be striving for?

You engaged him, Bob. What were you thinking?
