I’m posting a statement prepared by fluff_nasty and I approve everything that is in the statement.

My name is Isaac, aka fluff_nasty.

After the second round game of the Phelan D2 Tournament, I received an email from WIS-Comish informing me that I was banned.

“We’ve been alerted to a game between the accounts scheyerguy and fluff_nasty where a game was intentionally thrown by scheyerguy. After investigation, we’ve determined that these accounts are operated by the same person. This is an extremely serious violation of our Fair Play Guidelines (https://www.whatifsports.com/account/FairPlayGuidelines/). As a result of this violation, both accounts have been closed permanently.”

First of all, these accounts are not operated by the same person.

Isaac operates GCU while Kolby, my brother-in-law (dun dun dunnnnn) operates FGCU and Creighton.

We have sent WIS Comish photos of our IDs, credit cards, faces, and computers to confirm this.

We do not live in the same household, however we are frequently at each other’s household’s.

The next thing in question is the “thrown game”.

Was the game thrown? Yes it was. Kolby decided to throw the game without my knowledge because I had just gone through the worst two days of my life. (trust me, you don’t want to know) He wanted to throw me a bone and make sure that he didn’t steal a win from me to make things worse. Had he told me he was doing this I would have told him not to. We have a fun rivalry (Chiefs fan vs Broncos fan) and I would have loved to beat him fair and square. However, this was not the case and I didn’t realize he threw the game until I saw the boxscore.

Apparently at this point, Kolby got a little “troll-y” on the forums. He had no idea that throwing a game could get him banned, and honestly neither did I. So I don’t really know what all he was going on about but he was just a little upset and surprised that he lost his team and went on a bit of a rant trying to fight what had happened.

At this point I believe fluff_nasty should be fully reinstated. Scheyerguy should be punished for throwing a game but probably not banned.

I would love the chance to be able to gameplan for my championship game tonight.

Additionally, I believe we need to make the Fairplay Guidelines more accessible. At the very least they should be pinned atop the HD Forum.

If what he said above is true, I think fluff should be reinstated. I think because much of the above is difficult to prove (I get the IDs but the brother in law could just be pretending he has an account and this could still be an elaborate ruse) perhaps CS can enforce an informal probation where scheyerguy, kolby, and fluff cannot play in the same world for a few seasons.

I do agree the fair play guidelines should be more accessible though it's really the responsibility of the user to read them no matter where they're "pinned". Also this just seems like a no-brainer - this isn't a private Madden game between two friends where it's ok to throw the game. This is a game where there are hundreds of other players and throwing a game has a real impact on those players and their ability game plan and prepare for an opponent.

I was trolling, have you ever met a troll who told the truth? Also, at what point in the account creation process are the Fairplay guidelines mentioned or brought up? I must have missed that.

I just hope fluff gets his account back for the game tonight cause he did nothing wrong. If they have to ban both my accounts then whatever. I’ll feel bad if my actions got Isaac banned from his dynasty.

I would also like to point out that if gcu would have thrown the game then I bet nobody would be crying about it.

Alright I have to go to work now, I hope they fix this for him.
