On behalf of America, I wanted to take a moment to thank you. Thank you for censoring and hiding that story about Hunter Biden. Even if it's completely true (which sadly I'll admit it looks like it is...straight from a computer repair shop in Delaware) this election is too important to lose. Without a Democrat in office, our country ends and I'd rather a wildly corrupt Democrat than no Democrat at all. People do not have a right to access or share a news story that threatens our country. And this is exactly what this is, because if everyone was freely able to view this story and see incontrovertible proof of Biden's lying and corruption (as a Bernie supporter I already knew this) than the criminal racist Trump would easily win again. So thank you Facebook and Twitter for defending the underprivileged and those in need.

And it might be helpful to note that here is the original article https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/ . I'm posting it only so you can know what to look for and to avoid. Please do not share it! I repeat, Please do not share it. This election is too important...more important than truth and a free press.

If you're going to post this, why not just use your actual account, guitarguy? We know your opinion.

I respect you Tang but please stay on topic. Show your thanks to Twitter and Facebook.

I am thankful for the work and help of my big tech corporate allies in silencing the hateful right. Aren't you? Or do you promote hate speech?
10/15/2020 8:43 AM
I think Twitter and Facebook have every right to do what they did. It's their platform. Whether or not it's *right* for them to do so is completely dependent on how valid you think the story is.

The Post story was obviously bullshit. It's a non-story. I've read it. So I don't really care about what Twitter and Facebook did.

Facebook and Twitter aren't allies in silencing the right, btw. Stop having such a victim complex. The right thrives on Facebook. Besides, this is just the free market again. Conservatives lose their mind about how they're dominated by big corporations in this instance and no other one.

I also saw an interesting point made the other day. There's more evidence of systemic racism in criminal justice than systemic bias against conservatives on social media. All of the conservative arguments against systemic racism could apply just as much to social media. But for """some reason""" y'all are real exited to look for injustice against yourself and not against anyone else.

I completely agree with you. I think it's totally acceptable that Facebook and Twitter allow numerous unverified and non-factual anti-Trump stories on their platforms because it is for the greater good. Trump is evil and the ends justify the means. The more big tech censorship the better because I know they are on the side of what's good and noble and true - the left's side. I am excited about where this is headed. All conservative voices will be silenced! Yes!

For every small police union that endorses Trump, I hope Biden advertises double about that fact that he is (un) officially endorsed by both Twitter and Facebook! These are hugely successful companies and this must be seen as an absolute honor!

Why don't we just use the same argument that conservatives use on racial discrimination?

Just go to a different social media platform. Parler, or something. What's the problem with that?

Let's see if you can prove that there's systemic discrimination against conservatives on Twitter and Facebook.

It's their platform that they provide for you. Even if we accepted your premise, it's absurd. I don't see how it isn't obvious to you that you're strawmanning my argument. I'm not making some sort of utilitarian argument against Trump for the greater good.

Police Unions endorsing Trump is good for Biden, if anything.

100% agree.

Defund the Police!

Abolish for-profit prisons!

I really hope Facebook and Twitter continue what they started. This news story coming out today about Biden's connection to China is shocking. Once again, even though it looks to be all true, we cannot allow this to help evil hateful racist Trump.
10/15/2020 9:45 AM
It really doesn't look to be true, lmao

Lololololololol

“Even if it's completely true (which sadly I'll admit it looks like it is...straight from a computer repair shop in Delaware)”
