The goal of this draft is for everyone to eventually wind up with 1 player from each of the following 25 different year ranges:

1885 to 1900, 1901 to 1905, 1906 to 1910, 1911 to 1915, 1916 to 1920
1921 to 1925, 1926 to 1930, 1931 to 1935, 1936 to 1940, 1941 to 1945
1946 to 1950, 1951 to 1955, 1956 to 1960, 1961 to 1965, 1966 to 1970
1971 to 1975, 1976 to 1980, 1981 to 1985, 1986 to 1990, 1991 to 1995
1996 to 2000. 2001 to 2005, 2006 to 2010, 2011 to 2015, 2016 to 2020

The draft will be serpentine and run in the Theme League forum as such:

Round 1 through 15 = 1 pick
Round 16 through 19 = 2 picks
Round 20 = 3 picks

30-minute time slots beginning at 10 AM Eastern each day. One round per day. Clock begins Monday 12/28 but we can draft off-the-clock before that if we fill and get an order set earlier.

Once filled we will ask an owner not in the league to provide a randomized list for draft order

Here are the particulars:

Every player is eligible and must be drafted for a particular season up front. For example: Somebody takes 1921 Babe Ruth. After that nobody else can take 1922 - 1925 Babe Ruth. Any other Ruth would still be available until another one is drafted (say 1927). At that point any other Ruths from 1926 - 1930 also come off the board. Therefore, once someone is drafted within a certain box (date range) no more of that particular player is available but ONLY for that date range. Clones will be allowed.

Players can be drafted in any order but invalid picks (2 players on a roster within a certain range, ineligible year taken) will be kicked out. The owner that makes that kind of mistake can repick but other owners do not have to wait for the correction. I will keep an updated list of taken players posted.

Stadiums will also be part of this draft and can be chosen at any time. However, this draft will not pick single stadiums or franchises but CITIES. For example, taking Houston stadium gives that owner exclusive rights to the Astrodome or Enron or Colt45. That owner does not have to decide until he enters his team.
For the purpose of this draft New York (NYC with 9 options will be one choice).
The Boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx (4 options) are considered a separate pick.
