I'm not exactly sure what this means, but it my roster "match" score is the highest (or close to it) in every league. I know it means that I didn't take an outlier year. It also probably means that there are obvious selections in my years range that those teams on either side of me also found...
Number of players an exact match by Franchise
League 1 (Yankees) 20 - My 1903-35 vs crazyamos 1904-36 (max is 20)
League 2 (Giants) 16 - My 1908-29 vs kstober 1909-30 (max is 17)
League 3 (Dodgers) 17 - My 1978-16 vs tridentric 1980-17 (max is 17)
League 4 (Red Sox) 18 - My 1956-02 vs calhoop 1957-03 (max is 18)
League 5 (Cardinals) 19 - My 1948-00 vs Chisock 1949-01 (max is 19)
League 6 (Pirates) 17 - My 1907-37 vs kstober 1906-36 (max is 18)
League 6 (Phillies) 17 - My 1917-09 vs redcped 1916-08 (max is 17)
League 7 (Indians) 18 - My 1907-48 vs kstober 1908-49 (max is 18)
League 7 (Reds) 13 - My 1972-13 vs toysboys 1973-20 (max is 13)
League 8 (Athletics) 18 - My 1929-00 vs DarthDurron 1930-01 (max is 18)
League 9 (White Sox) 20 - My 1904-57 vs pedrocerrano 1905-58 (max is 20)
League 10 (Braves) 16 - My 1982-12 vs DarthDurron 1983-13 (max is 18)
So I have 9 teams where the match score is the highest (or tied for the highest) for the respective franchise and three other teams that are 1-2 players off from being the highest. I didn't list all my teams. For those teams not listed, they mostly have match scores 1-3 points less than the team I listed, so still close to the max (i.e., my 1952-81 Yankees team has a 17 match score with mllama54's 1954-84 team, which is tied for the second highest score in league 1).
It will be interesting to see how teams with similar rosters compare to each other at the end of the season.
