The following table shows the owners, years and the cloned player. The last column (called "match") compares rosters of two chronologically successive teams. For example, my 1903-35 Yankees roster and crazyamos' 1904-36 Yankees roster have 20 players exactly the same. crazyamos' 1904-36 roster and redcped's 1906-37 rosters have 15 of the same players.

Damn, I'm pretty sure I made a mistake by doubling up on Jimmie Foxx instead of Al Simmons. Mickey Cochrane is a decent enough catcher and with all the deadball pitching, the '32 Foxx will almost certainly underperform more than the second Al Simmons will. Damn.

So I'm the only idiot out there cloning 50 IP relief pitchers? Gotcha....

I'm not exactly sure what this means, but it my roster "match" score is the highest (or close to it) in every league. I know it means that I didn't take an outlier year. It also probably means that there are obvious selections in my years range that those teams on either side of me also found...

So I have 9 teams where the match score is the highest (or tied for the highest) for the respective franchise and three other teams that are 1-2 players off from being the highest. I didn't list all my teams. For those teams not listed, they mostly have match scores 1-3 points less than the team I listed, so still close to the max (i.e., my 1952-81 Yankees team has a 17 match score with mllama54's 1954-84 team, which is tied for the second highest score in league 1).

It will be interesting to see how teams with similar rosters compare to each other at the end of the season.
