This is a difficult draft. Every team is going to be loaded.

Two interesting notes Ive observed so far.
1: I have no preconceived ideas on who is going to be drafted next because there are so many options and so many GOOD options.
2: having two picks close together could be a major advantage, especially later in the draft

It sucks when you have 2 guys in 2 different price brackets that you really need/want, but you know you have to choose between them bc whichever one you don't pick will get drafted before you pick again.

When we have CDL #5, I think I will make a change in the drafting schedule. Round 1 will be untimed. For rounds 2 through 4, there will be some type of time limit. 12 hours? 16 hours? We will figure something out, a 24 hour clock is too much. For rounds 5 through 8 I want to make a schedule. It will be something like this…..person #1 drafts at noon, #2 at 12:20, #3 at 12:40 and so on until person #24 drafts at 7:40pm. 24 picks in 8 hours. You know exactly when your twenty minute window is. If your time slot happens to be at 5:40 and you know you will be in your car then you can send several people a proxy. Or if you want to you can give a buddy your cell phone number and they can call or text you (not while driving!) and get your pick and post it. Going between noon and 8:00pm should be a time window that is not too early or too late for the east coast or the west coast. We can work something out for all of our drafters from Switzerland.

I am also considering using the 8 hour plan for rounds 7 and 8 of this draft.

Maybe rounds one and two will be untimed and we will go to the schedule for rounds 3 through 8. I don’t know. I think we can do better.
