125 million roster in OL?! Topic

We just had an OL started with an owner fielding a 125 million dollar roster, how the heck can that even happen?
I've seen a few instances of theme league rosters ending up in an OL but that was when they fitted under the 80 million cap, but how can it be that a team can enter an OL 45 million over the cap?!

Looks like mlb135241. Reminds of a league ozomatli ran a few years back where they came up with a formula that allowed for different salary caps. Seems oz and a player like waitnsee would play at 85 or 90 mil while most players played at over 100 mil. You could guess who might win something like that.

Is it an Open League, or an $80M theme league with above average AAA?

If it's an OL, admin would reset and remove that team from competition...

It's an Open League. I did send a ticket earlier this morning, still waiting for a reply, meanwhile, we're 3 games into the season.

If that's the case they should reset it...it's definitely not right...

I have my doubts though. Opens are in the 1339xx-134xxx range, not the 135xxx now. It appears to be some type of theme...my 2 cents.

I can't view the Salary Breakdown from outside the league, to verify it's actually in excess of $80M...

There might be a glitch that's allowing higher cap teams in. A few patches have caused some snafus before... I brought it to the attention of another owner in the league. It'll get looked at.

Something is screwy, 3 games into the season, everyone has 10-0, 9-1 or 8-2 in the Last 10 column...

It's over the cap alright, $50M spent on pitching, $73M on offense. A ticket will be submitted by another in the league...
