This sort of thing drives me nuts. I decided to dig into why my 1906 Cubs-based team (22-28) is doing so much worse than schwarze's (28-22). It certainly isn't luck in 1-run games; his team (5-11) is even worse than mine (4-7). Well, here's certainly a big part of the reason: among the 1906 Cubs players we have EXACTLY in common, his are performing FAR better:
