Eliminate the draft and I'm in.

Main reason for the draft part was to make it so each team woudl have a DIFFERENT 7 million player rather than the same five players spread among 24 teams.

The problem is that with only one round, there is too big of an advantage to picking in the top 5. IMO, in a league like this there aren't 24 $7M+ players worth drafting.

I can't find enough minutes anywhere.

is the draft the first stage in this league? how long will we have to fill out the other 11 players?

I'm in.

Guys the intention of this league is to be more difficult than the last $20 million league with an added twist but not as hard to build a team as the $17 million league was.

NC there are quite a few good players at just over $7 million at different positions with okay to surprisingly good numbers if you dig around. But it is tough to find the players and that is why it is a difficult task.

bds92 minutes are there but you have to look for the poorest defensive players you can find. All of the players in a league like this one are pretty poor defenders. Again the idea was to make this a very difficult challenge with a twist ( the Big Fish).

Also, I have play tested some teams with "Big Fish" at over $6.8, $8, and $10 million as individual salaries on teams at less than $20 million total roster salary and had some success going against the teams in the last $20 million league.

Minutes are definitely there. You just have to get creative, my man!

(1) I have no problem with requiring one big salary player on the team.

(2) IMO, there aren't 24 different $7M+ players that you can use to have an elite team in this league. Having a one round draft simply isn't fair to the people at the bottom of the round. If you said that you must have two $5M+ players and you had a 2 round snake draft, that would be more fair.

(3) I agree that the minutes are there.

NC you are making a strong point concerning the unfairness of a big fish draft at the $22 million salary level. Any more thoughts?
