I know, I know, what a ****** name for the league but I've been gone so long that I forgot the terminologies we use lol. Anyhow, here is the concept that I partially delayed so I could make my choice before any of you, lol (sticking with my Cincinnati 73s concept)....

Pick any team season (i.e. 1957-58 St. Louis Hawks, 1976-77 New York Nets, 2000-01 Los Angeles Clippers, etc) and twist any and all players on that roster as you see fit. There's another catch however...only one team season per decade may be used so if the 1984-85 Lakers are taken, you may not use another 1980s Laker team, but you still may choose a season from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 90s, and 00s...get it? Decades will be determined by the last number in the season so if its 1969-70, its 1970.

- 47 mil cap

- No rookies, clones, WW, or ABA team selections (though ABA player seasons may be used)

- You must use your Team Season in your team name somehow, somewhere (i.e. 1994 Choking Sonics, etc)

Explain how we "twist" the roster...not sure I'm following you.

In - tentatively with the 2003-04 Lakers.

shap, the "twist" part means you can use any season you want of every player who appears on the roster that year.

And nice choices, both of you. I used that same Knicks season in a previous version of this league. I don't think I blew anybody's doors off, but I'm pretty sure I squeaked into the playoffs. In any case I had a lot of fun with the collection of all-time greats.

I know LTB, but I'm still belligerently and stubbornly sticking to my Cincinnati 73s concept...not sure I'll ever get off that schnide lol...after looking at my choices then, the only other really viable choice was the 71-72 Lakers which are hella good as well (Baylor, Chamberlain, West, Goodrich, McMillian, Hairston, Flynn Robinson).

Instead I went with Reed, DeBusschere, Bradley, Frazier, Monroe, Lucas, Riordan which I'm quite thrilled about...I really hope this fills!

i love this concept..theme leagues are definitely gonna keep me playing this...was getting a little annoyed by the fact that i have to go against 78-79 moses and 91-92 rodman every game in the open league

count me in....im probably gonna go with a late 90s bulls team but ill check out my other options first

Ha, I used that Lakers team in one of these leagues, too (you were probably in it). I won't say here yet since I don't want to influence anyone's decision.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite theme league concepts.

selections updated...and as I've been looking through my NBA Guide that shows team by team rosters...there are a TON of good teams out there...a lot of diamonds in the rough if you will.

Yeah I started to go with 05-06 but 04-05 is a better fit. I think?
