You are. No one truly knows because you don't know if you see the IFA on the first available cycle. Unless you're in a world that has colluded wrt IFA availability and tested the signing cycles several times.

i think everyone sees the IFA on the first available cycle or they don't see him at all.

Do they? One of the responses when you offer them a contract is "You offered the best deal, but I have let other teams know."

That leads me to believe that some other teams are let in on the bidding. Unless that is just a canned response and there is no actual action behind it.

all of the responses are canned.

I'm almost positive this is incorrect.

what evidence do you have to back it up?

'cause i'm almost positive that it is correct. we may need to make another noodle bet here.

The fastest a Int signs is usually around 2 real life days. The longest is often about 4 and 1/2 real life days. The frequency of the bids seems to have some effect on the length of time it takes a player to decide.

As to the other issue being discussed, I believe everyone who will see an Int sees him on the same cycle. I have never heard of a situation where an owner gets into the bidding late on a Int because they just discovered him.

i am fairly certain everyone sees them on the 1st cycle or they dont see them at all.

Purely circumstantial.

I think I've seen IFA after others have discussed them. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, you're a geek.

i tend to agree with dino and sportsboy

the canned response means 'youre the high bidder for now but someone could outbid you'. kinda like regular free agency.

i can't remember hearing of a case where someone mentioned an intl in the world chat and another owner got notice of him later. it's always been either you see him or you don't

Don't make me list you as a geek.
