Pick a year from 1961-2009. Draft the best from that year. Then, draft 6/6 WAA AAA guys from 30 years before. No clones, no WW, No DH. 50 games live to make playoffs. Stadium must be from your chosen year. I will take 1961 with 1931 for my AAA guys. Simple. MLB87194

sorry guys. cant get a nibble except from you two. maybe another owner should start this. Everyone expects you to join their legue, but no one joins yours. I will give it a day or so if no one else joins i will disolve the league.

No one expects you to join any specific league, but the more active you are , the more other owners see that you are committed. I've joined plenty of leagues run by people who have never played in my leagues, but am more likely to plunk down my money for a league run by someone who has had a bunch of live teams. There are some 20 leagues posted that need players; you're in none of them. I don't care whether someone joins my leagues, but if I saw you signed up for a few leagues run by others, I'd be much more likely to play.

And having just a few signups in the first 24 hours after posting is pretty common. If you really want the league to get off the ground, be patient. Instead of starting over with a new post every couple of weeks, bump up the first posting a couple times a day. Leagues can take months to fill; I've had one take over 7 months but it eventually filled, and was a great league.

Thats cool. I am in three leagues now. The leagues I joined filled rather. I am just learning. But I get probably 15 invites a day, maybe more. I gues that is what concerned me, the number of invites via sitemail.

I havent joined a league in a long while. Too much drama and I have been too busy to give this much thought. But this looks interesting, so I am in. As I said. sitemail me if it fills. I will check in every now an then.

I couldn't agree more Mr. Maris! I never, ever go out asking folks to join my league. I figure if folks want to join my league, they will.
