I was an average coach with teams in three worlds. Had programs in all three divisions. Long term winners at WVW in Tark and Ursinus in Crum. Got bored when potential was released and leagues started emptying.

With college bball season starting up again I was wondering what the current state is and is it worth another try ?

Now that they've fixed the major bugs from the beginning, I think potential is superior to the old system. There are definitely still some improvements to be made, but overall I like it better.

It seems to negate the advantage of redshirting.

False. While a redshirt player might no longer graduate BETTER than a non-redshirt ratings-wise, he'll have better IQs, plus he'll hit his peak ratings in, say, his second of four years on the court instead of his third.
