NEED 1 - cannot figure out why to edit the topic

With the start of the real MLB season, i was looking through rotations of some teams and thought of this theme. The point is to put together a rotation of 5 players from 1900-2009. In order to make it fun is each team will send me an e-mail of the 5 they want. After all teams are in if someone else picks that person they will not be used at all and be blacklisted and a new pitcher will be drafted. In the end there will be 120 different starting pitchers. The rest of the team will be 5 players each from a pitcher you pick and the year you picked them

Example of how it all works - initially i draft 5 pitchers via e-mail

1. babe Ruth
2. Walter Johnson
3. brandon Webb
4. John Tudor
5. James Shields

If I didn't get Walter Johnson I will have to repick - After the initial 120 picks is in if no one else selected them they are yours. A list will be provided at that point of who was been taken and who needs to repick

2. Terry Mulholland - So i got him this time

So my rotation is set next time to pick extra players - none of the pitchers selected can be picked by another team

1. Babe Ruth - 1915 Red Sox - now i take 4 of his teammates
2. Terry Mulholland - 1993 Phillies - now i take 4 of his teammates
3. Brandon Webb - 2005 D'Backs - 4 of his teammates
4. John Tudor - 1985 Cards - 4 of his teammates
5. James Shields - 2008 Rays - 4 of his teammates.

Also, there is a cap 120M - just to make it harder to build an awesome team. If a player played Hitter and Pitcher like Ruth he will be banned from the list. If Eck is picked as a starter then no one can take him as a closer.

ballpark: One your starting pitchers pitched in and the year you picked of them
WW: No
Clones: No
DH: No

The 5 starting pitchers must start every game automatic loss for that game if not.

This league will challenging and owners need to employ strategy like do i go with mediocre pitchers from great batting teams, one year wonders, all-stars, or HOF's.

I just want to reiterate a rule that should have been understood. All starters need to start every game in order. So to give some leeway on innings each start must start 30 games minimum in order to make the playoffs. This leaving 12 games to use pitchers that have higher innings that were taken.

i'm in. 2 questions:

are pitchers exclusive, or pitcher seasons? i am just making sure that it is pitchers... so the initial list i send would be ruth, johnson, webb, tudor, and shields... and then after i get them, i get to pick whatever season i want.

also can i use my 5 starters in relief? is there a limit on how many games they can start?

I'm up to 17 pitchers I'd like to choose from. I wonder how many rounds this draft will take? 3, maybe 4 rounds?

Once a player is blacklisted, does that mean you can also not draft them as a teammate? For example; say Pedro Martinez gets blacklisted so he can't be anyones starter. But can he still be on someones team as a teammate of one of your starters, used only in relief?
