My Framingham St. team in Naismith started the season 3-7 in OOC. We have not lost a game since and are currently in the Elite 8. Has anyone had a better in-season turnaround?

Not better but I once started a season 1-7 and went into the posteason 20-9 and made it to the Sweet 16, also the last 2 seasons with my Bryant team I've started out 2-5 last season I didn't lose another game until the Elite 8 and this season I've lost 2 more games and I'm currently in the Sweet 16.

Did you make any changes or did you just have a really tough NC schedule? I know with my Bryant teams it was just the result of tough scheduling, while with my Whitman team (1-7) I made a major change to my lineup and then started winning.

the only one that comes to mind for me is liamsar's Rutgers squad in season 30 of Smith. they started 2-8 non-conference, rallied to go 13-3 in conference play, won the CT to get (i think) a 15 seed in the NT, and finally topped it off with a NT title. it's crazy to think that team would have not made the tournament if they hadn't won the CT.

15 seed won the NT, wtf? Craziest thing I've heard.

eh, we have a pretty weak conference. and every one of your noncon losses were to 20 win teams.

and you press.

He's got a point. Easier to turn things around with a weak conference, but you had to play yourself to the EE, so congrats.

Looks like the honors go to liamsar. Going from 2-8 to a NT is outstanding.

I didn't make any major changes. Our IQ got better and I played around with distro some but that's about it. We just let the Press do the rest. ha ha. We did lose our backup SF for the entire postseason but that was not a factor either way.

Our run is over. We lost to a very good alblack team.

Is that like when Kentucky with Pat Riley lost to Texas Western?

I will never get over the fact that the coach for the white team in that game was named Adolf.

At Virginia Union in Phelan world I started 1-9 and finished 23-10 ranked 11 with and elite 8 appearance where I lost by one point to the eventual national champ as a 9 seed

not the biggest turnaround in the thread... but one year i started out 4-7 and then went on a 24 game winning streak in the top conference in that world (to win the CT and NT).

one time i played against my own alias in a national championship game.

ok, not related, but felt good to mention it.

i recall that. did you game plan for both teams or have someone else game plan one?
4/15/2010 4:06 PM
i think i put both on like a -2 or so, definitely didnt trick things up in any way
