Game credits - Seble? Topic

I'd like to get an explanation for why we are not given at least one free season per team. We are clearly testing the engine and changes are being made on the fly. It has obviously affected the outcome of the season. If we are being asked to find bugs, I feel we are being used as beta testers. Is there any thought to giving free seasons for each team that is active?

And, please dont tell me the $5 credit was it. That is just a slap in the face.

why do you want free seasons for something you don't want to play?

I honestly still enjoy the game. I am very frustrated with the results under the new engine but if things get ironed out, I will probably keep a couple of my teams.

I'm going to agree with this thread. I feel like this was a wasted season and am about to just quit this game altogether.

Did that $5 credit expire or is it in our accounts somewhere?

You people who are going to quit need to just quit already. When you stop shopping at a store or eating at a restaurant do you stand outside and tell everyone? Or walk up and down everyone's table and tell them what you don't like?

Complain to the manager and be out...and I'm not picking on this one person, but everyday theres all these people ranting and raving about wanting to quit....GO QUIT

it was scheduled to expire May 31st. i actually used it (along with other credits and some reward points) so i cannot tell you if it really did expire.

Yeah, anyone who played in Tark of Phelan this past season deserves one free season per team. Let's see how seble responds.

I'm not sure I totally agree, mjp. When you spend money at a store, you spend the money and you're done. There's an accomplishment factor here. We have all spent a lot of time building these teams, and I agree that it kind of feels like this season isn't the same - like it's one big exhibition season/beta test.

I don't think any of us would be scarred for life if we quit, but it would certainly affect my day-to-day enjoyment more than if I quit shopping at Target. I'm by no means ready to quit, but I understand the people who are (even if I think some of the reaction is melodramatic), and I think seble should also. He has to know he rushed the rollout at this point, and he has to know that this wasn't in the best-case-scenario range.

I think, because of that, and because we ARE paying for these seasons, that he offer at least a half-off one season credit that doesn't expire for a couple months. To be honest, I would have been perfectly happy with the $5 credit if I had been given more time to use it.

The problem with the $5 credit, at least in Naismith, is that it has expired before we've even sniffed the new engine. It doesn't bother me, because I have four years bankrolled already, but how exactly were people supposed to know if they wanted to use the credit when it would expire before they even got a chance to remotely experience the new engine for themselves?

rednu - i understand your point, but it was sort of that way for us in phelan as well. with the rescheduling of games, we only had 1-2 games to look at which was very limited information.

So, the game would suck much less if you had a free season?

Nope ... if if infuriates you to play it, giving you a free season is actually causing you MORE harm.

Not it's called compensating WIS's paying customers, and for helping WIS find the issues and the flaws in their sub-standard engine that they released too soon because they can not do it themselves, as they didn't have the resources to do it.

So that WIS doesn't lose all the loyal customers it has, once these people decide to actually leave, and maybe try and keep them around.
