College League with Recruiting Coup Dead Topic

King James at Temple?  KG at BC?  Moses at Stanford?  What would that look like? Here's your chance to find out.

This is a possible sequel to the College League currently running. (and is a blast!)   You select a College and make a team and then a 1 round draft of US born players who did not attend college will take place.  (I have nothing against Foreign Born Players – I just figure it was never a possibility for most of them to ever play at a US college.) On the Following Page is a list of colleges and, if I have done my Database queries correctly, a price of the most expensive 11 man team a person could possibly make without using clones. This will serve as the reverse of the draft order. If you select North Carolina, you will draft last. You can also decline to draft.

You may also have any player with a salary of $239,000 on your team.

Also, is there a list for all of the players eligible for the draft?  Not sure how many players that is, but maybe it should include ALL players (including foreign players) that did not attend college.

Here are some others who are eligible;

Goose Ligon
Al Cervi
Reggie Harding
George Ratkovicz
Joe Graboski
Stan Miasek
Connie Simmons

If you have others to add, just link to their basketball-reference page in a post.

I want to limit the talent pool.  If foreign players are included, UNC might have somebody worth drafting by the time it's their turn, which is sort of not the point; I want there to be a cost to taking UNC and/or I want who ever gets the first draft pick to be on a close to equal footing with UNC because the first draft pick team gets Kobe/LeBron/KG/Moses and UNC gets practically nothing.

No shame, BTW, in changing your mind on a team.  For example, I am thinking about San Francisco, but they are not really viable unless they can get Kobe or LeBron; they have a usage% problem.  If you are making assumptions about your draft position that do not pan out, well please don't drop out, and please don't go crazy with it, but do change your team.  (and take San Francisco if you want to, I'm not even sure I will go with them.)

I am waiting to choose because it seems like a good-host kind of thing to do.

Tennessee if it goes as is.  BUT ... I have to throw a bit of a wrench in this one.  The current max salaries are based on the current SIM which is about to change.  Tennessee for example if full of great players that have low def ratings, making them very inexpensive.  There is a likelihood the salary structure will change greatly with the new release (if that is ever actually released).  Thus, your list will change no matter what.
