I should have made it clear because I think I'm the only one who does this: These are the projected final ratings for both recruits (hence the multiples of 5). This is about where both recruits will end up.
Oh I project ratings for recruits too, they just don't all end up on the 5s ; )
A is more skilled (can rebound a bit, shoot, and pass) but B is a serious athletic lockdown defender, and has a huge stamina advantage. But the choice should really depend on the rest of your team and what it will look like a few seasons down the road. Will you run uptempo? Will you lack rebounding? Outside shooting? Defense? What will your projected lineup need more? SFs are good for this because you find a wide range of skillsets and you can use that flexibility to address weaknesses on your team.

In a vacuum though I'd probably take A.
