My league is in post-season play and I accidentally released a minor leaguer that I would like to have back. He cleared waivers but is not on the Free agent list. Where did he go? Can I get him back? Thanks.

I was going to make a Logan's Run joke, but decided not to. Check the transactions listing to see if someone picked him up (probably the case). You can also search the world by his last name.
When you Waive a player, you receive an email notification if he is claimed. A Release offers no such communication.

I checked and he was not picked up (I should have mentioned that). I released a lot of players and they all show up in League Transactions but the only 2 players Claimed in the last week didn't include the one I wanted.

I see him when searching by name and he's on my Watch list but I can't get to him to re-sign him?

He didn't disappear from your world.  He's there somewhere.   What's his name?

Well, he didn't say if the player was over 30.

Pitcher Alfredo Cruz. He's 21. I can see him on the name search and my Watch list but I can't get to him to sign him? Thank you.

Are you at a point in the season where you can't sign FA?   He's showing up as an unassigned FA.   He should be on the FA list.

You signed him as an IFA, but never assigned him to the minors? Is he back in the IFA pool? Maybe in this case he just goes back to his home country with the money you paid him.
Good for him I say; also better than being found by a Sandman and eliminated through Carousel.

I signed him as an IFA, put him into RL and then (accidentally) released him.
I'm afraid I may be in a time when I can't sign FA's (although when I look up MiL pitchers on my Free agent search, I see 3?). We're in the League Championships now and I'm not sure when they cut off FA signings?

Not sure when the cut-off is.   I know I tried to sign an IFA in the playoffs in Hamilton and I couldn't.   Can't remember how deep into the playoffs we were.

I sent in a ticket and will update here when I get the answer.

Search for him the Major League free agent list.  I bet he's there.  First year released players somehow end up there instead of the minor league pool.  He'll still resign a minor league contract.
