Wow... just wow Topic

This seems like a flukey game in general.  I outrebounded Principia in this game, shot more free throws, better percentages, and had more turnovers but still relatively few...  8 times out of 10 I probably win this one.  Anyway, the part that really gets me is the line on my starting SG.  He fouled out in - wait for it - 2!! minutes.  I've never seen anything like it.

Incidentally, his backup fouled out, too.  He has a terrible IQ, though, and it took him 23 minutes.

Not sure if I've ever seen a player foul out faster than that.

That's brutal Dahs.  If it happened to me I'm sure that I'd be cursing the pbp but i do love the fact that it's possible and that it actually happens once in a while.  Looks like you have a good team that should bounce back nicely though.

I would definitely send a ticket. That should not happen. I see guys foul out in 6 or 8 or 10 mins and I just shake my head. It's ridiculous and something they need to tweak. Showing a guy who fouled out in two minutes should theoretically drive the point home for them.

As for your other arguments ... you outrebounded them by 2, made four more free throws and had better percentages by tiny margins. All very, very small advantages. Then you had five more to's -- he had eight more fg attempts -- and you lost by two. That part I don't think is flukey. It was essentially an even game.

Seems like a freak thing.  If it happened more than one time I'd send a ticket.

His 2 minutes were spread out over 4 or 5 different appearances in game, he just quickly picked up fouls when on the court. Got 2 in the first minute (fluky thing) and sat until about 3:30 in the 1st, went back in and picked up another, so came right back out - same thing twice in the second half, in -  quick foul, have a seat...weird but not impossible or even unrealistic for a fluky thing...

Had my best player (PG) with an IQ of A- in our m2m defense foul out in 5 minutes this season.

Not unrealistic?

Has this ever happened before in a college or pro game? Once?

Mick Pontalti of Niagra fouled out in a game against Vermont in 1987 in 2:34 seconds. But the NCAA doesn't keep records of the fastest foul out but it has happend. Fluky yes impossible NO.

Oh yea and Bubba Wells holds the NBA record for fasted DQ he managed 3 min. That was Dec. 29 1997.

I had a senior with IQ of A+ give me 8 minutes in a game this season. Certainly not two but still pretty low.

LOL, OK, I give you that. But do you agree that quick foul outs (not necessarily two mins, but 6/8/10/12/14) happen more frequently in HD than you think they should? I definitely do.

It just surprised me because last season I don't recall having anyone foul out the entire season.  This game I had 2, and the one was so fast he really never even got to play.
