The dudes trying to catch the dudes who are the dudes need some help.

Tark D2 has been, hands down, the most elite D2 world over the last 15-20 seasons.  At the heart of it all lies the battle between the mighty GLV (good guys) and the evil MAIAA.  (absolutely amazing conference rivalry!)  In the last 20 seasons, these conferences have 19 title game participants.  Including the reigning D2 champion, SW Baptist (AEJones).

If you're looking for an incredibly active D2 squad and to get in on one of the few special rivalries left in HD (hell, it's kept my old butt around for a few seasons... and at least 2 more to come), then pick up a squad in the MAIAA.

They currently have Emporia State, which is a higher prestige school, but will be dropping 6 seniors (I think) this season.  So there's room to have great prestige and build something of your own at the same time.

If you want more of a challenge, 2 teams are open in the "SW Baptist will punch you in the face" division.  But as daunting as it sounds, building a team from scratch in these 2 conferences, even being in the same division, isn't an impossible task. (I know, I did this first hand with SJC, in Billy's backyard)

So please please please get in on the action. We here in the GLV don't want to hear any excuses from the MAIAA when they continue to finish behind us in conference RPI.  AE's titles only hold up as a good argument for so long!  :-P

And seriously-- Tark D2 is where it's at. But not just Tark D2, these two conferences. We have been head and shoulders above the rest of the conferences for a few seasons. We have a lot of people that talk a lot of ****, and *most* of them can back it up. Both conferences are active, sometimes you'll go a day without checking your team and when you come back there are pages of stuff written on the CC (an argument or just good information exchange about how to succeed in the game). 

It's great for two types of coaches--(1)  coaches who are already elite and have never experienced competition like this (seriously, we're all recruiting in the same midwest states, we overlap, we battle every year for recruits) and (2) good coaches who want help. We are all a helpful bunch, sharing theories and discussing player types. 

Finally, every year I do a recruiting rankings from these two conferences combined. I will post a link in this thread. They keep everyone active and debating. 

I knew deep down mlatsko loved us, lol. On top of what has been said we earn a ton of recruiting money ever season, this past season we earned 84k which is 7k per team and isn't out of the ordinary for the conference. In a "bad" season we will 5k extra per team and there have been 1 or 2 seasons where we topped the 100k, well over 8k per team.  

Eventhough you'll be competiting with elite teams for recruits you will have a ton of money and can even long distance recruit because of it.

Ugh, get the feeling if nobody takes over Emporia St. this season it's going to be nearly impossible to get anybody to take them over for a while.

emporia? that should be an easy fill. there should be plenty of coaches that would like the chance to start in one of the best conferences in d2 with a B prestige. but the real question is, if any coaches have the balls to take over D+ prestige, central oklahoma.

2 seasons ago i took over a D+ prestige school in the conference and have transformed them into a contender. not too many coaches have the sack to turn around a team like that, in a conference like this.

I'm with brian... SJC was one of the worst programs in all of Tark D2 when I took them over.  

Anything is possibbbllllleeeeee!

I'm sure there's someone out there that has the sack to try to go from crap school to NATIONAL CHAMPION!  

It CAN be done, it HAS been done and it WILL be done again!
