I recently had a team complete spring training and virtually every player under 25 had their glove rating decline by 1-3 points and I dont know why.  My first thought was my FI coach Current but he is slightly better than last year's previous.  Upon closer inspection the FI IQ is 6 points higher but his discipline is slightly lower.  Last season all of my prospects showed normal improvement.  So unless its a discpline thing, I dont know whay it happened.  I dont pay much attention to discpline but I cant believe that I never hired a low discpline FI instructor before.  
 
A few examples:  Waterson, Greer and Rollins.  It does not appear to be based upon playing time either as Rollins had 43ABs in ST.  Any ideas why this happened?

I don't think he realizes he hired a pitching coach at fielding.

Can you even hire a BC as a FI?  That looks like an assigned coach under the old system.

Not via resign. I figured he put minimum salary on a minor league BC to fill ML BC, but the job offer got slipped to FC by mistake.

I would love to know what kind of drills he sets up that have them decline......"hey guys, lets try stopping the ball with the back of the glove this year"

Probably more "Anyone wanna take infield today?  No?  Alright, let's have a couple of beers."
