My favorite moment was when Bachmann said emphatically that gay marriage should be left to the States... and then changed her mind when everybody else agreed that a Constitutional amendment was the best way to handle it. Groupthink at its finest.

must admit I did not watch much - between putting the kids to bed, and knocking out some extra summer work (ain't being a teacher great!) I have not had time yet.

DVR it though, and I will try to watch later.

Didn't see a single jab from anyone. Pawlenty couldn't run farther from his "Obamneycare" comment. Iowa caucus only 8 months away.

Pawlenty's candidacy died last night. Anybody who can make John King look like a real journalist does not belong on the national stage.

The one thing Newt can do well is debate.  So my guess is that he is prepping the eventual candidate to beat the crap out of Obama.  Why wasn't Gary Johnson there?
I want to see either him or Cain get the nomination.  It will prolly be some liberal like Romney or Palin.
