Have you missed me??  No, I'm not making a comeback.  I haven't played baseball in forever, although I still have my 5 HD teams.  I am sorta getting an itch to build a team, but I am too busy to scour the forums for changes and current strategies, etc...  So, really I am just saying hello.  I hope all of you are doing well.

The sim is more accurate than it used to be, but I miss the old glitches.  Instead of finding the undervalued player, there were entire categories to be exploited - Superman Long A, for example.  My favorite was 1894 pitching:  I won a couple OLs with less than $12 million spent on pitching.

Or how about the very short lived BB/9 pricing glitch when you could field a great, low OAV, high K, pitching staff with 1300+ IP for under $5 million because the '77 Nolan Ryan was $1.9m, '55 Bob Turley & '38 Feller were each $200k, etc... THAT was the most glorious two weeks of my sim-existence.

Oh god, I remember playing a $60m league like that.... Even better, I made the $60m TOC... Of course, I lost in the finals to a team that had like 8 guys who walked 100 times each.
