I would like to claim the title of GREATEST REGULAR SEASON OF ALL TIME  for my DII, Rupp Team - LIU-Southamption (East Coast Conference). The record speaks for itself: 27-0.

note: I'm not claiming to have the greatest team of all time, nor the highest ranked team of all time, nor do i even expect to win a national championship....that's why i had to post this now, before any post season play.

It's quite a feat to accomplish tho (depending on the competitiveness of the worlds divisions) how many undefeated seasons have there been do we know?

sorry, that was just rude of me, zhawks. i was totally baiting someone into saying what you did. Thru a weird quirk, i played 11 non-con games, so if there have been other undefeated regualr seasons (26-0), i'm guessing and betting that they were never 27-0.

You are probably right, since you are one of the few teams that have 11 non conf games.

and, as toysboys so thoughtfully pointed out, now that i've jinxed myself, i've got to live it up for two days before i lose in my first game of the CT and first game of the NT.

i'm sure there are a hand-full of those teams, zhawks. and i doubt i'll ever be included in that group...... but i've got my own little club now.

That is true.

That is true. 

You've only got 9 games to go to likely have the first 36-0 season.
Not true - Season 3 of Wooden, bluedog 129 went 36-0 at DIII Johns Hopkins, one of 6 times Wooden DIII had an undefeated champion.  Of the 5 worlds I'm in (Wooden, Smith, Allen, Crum, Tark), it has been done 23 times at DIII, 11 tims at DII, but it has only been done 3 times at DI;  Crum Season 45, roguedog and Texas A&M, Tark Season 19, opshutdown34 at Florida A&M, and Tark Season 15, acn24 at Manhattan.
