This is my first year at Maryville St. Louis (B-)Div. 3 team and had 6 scholarships to fill. I really don't know what I'm doing but thought I would go after core ratings.

Looks decent, it would be helpful if you could post potentials, if you know any.

Definetly a good first class. You're way ahead of schedule.  In the future you want to recruit much better defenders and athletes.  Also you should start using FSS 9(scouting service) when you recruit to find players potentials.  If you need anymore help you can sitemail me and I'd be happy to help you out and answer any Q's you have.

If half of those players have high potential in ath, you are in great shape.

I have been trying to find a mentor nobody has replied. I don't know how to find potentials or use the scouting service.

I'd be willing to help as well.

Good worth ethics of those guys too, that's critical to improvement in the long term.

problem is since he wasnt using future stars I bet the majority of these guys dont have very good potential.

You find potentials by FSS and scouting trips.

The FSS is really convenient as you can see the potentials of the players and makes it easier to target players, I went from a terrible recruiting class in my first year at Sul Ross St., in which I did not use FSS, to two, I would say pretty solid recruiting classes at West Chester.

Scouting Trips give you a more accurate idea of what a players potential is, as you can see if they have High-Low potential which is 21-27 points in improvement or High-High which is 27+ points of improvement, dacj501 has a chart which allows you to know if it is High-Low potential or High-High potential.

It'll be easier to give lineup suggestions after the players are added to your roster, after recruiting is done.  It'll be easier to compare when all the guards are grouped together.

But, you lost 6 players from a SIM-coached team that made the PIT. Since improved OFF/DEF  IQs comes with experience, very young teams often struggle.  Once you've decided that post-season play is out of the question,  give your "future" as much playing time as possible.  The more they play, the faster they develop

Starting lineup:

PG- Reddy
SG- Harding
SF- Achenbach. I usually like better REB at SF but your other options don't appeal to me. Hopefully, he already knows your defense.
PF- Hermann
C-  Cordell, although I'm tempted to start F Warner. But I almost never start a freshman.

This is what I'd use if you want to win as many as possible this season. Otherwise, I'd go with the underclassmen
