Adding/Changing/Updating ballparks Topic

Is the staff of HBD just being lazy about adding, changing, and updating the ballparks in the game? Or just selective about which parks they put in/take out?

The same parks have been used for the quite a few years without any kind of modifications (at least to my knowledge).

Defunct Stadiums:
Portland PGE no longer exists

Teams Moved but still showing old:
Minnesota still showing metrodome
Florida still showing dolphins stadium
New York (NL) still showing shea stadium

Good job on getting New York Yankees (called II), and Nationals park updated.

Can't say much about adding parks but changing effects of current parks is another story.   If someone is playing in a -2 park and they move the fences in, in the real world, I wouldn't want my park suddenly becoming a +2 park.

I'm pretty sure Yankee Stadium II is still the 1976-2008 remodeled Yankee Stadium . . . not the current Yankee Stadium.

Adding some new parks would be nice.

Mike: that's real life for teams. Like the Marlins moving. They no longer have a pitchers park, they have a hitters park. Same with the Mets moving to their pitcher friendly park, and the Twins moving to their park with all it's weird dimensions. We can't just keep the parks the same to appease the status quo. The game needs to adjust to stay semi-realistic.

So would having you return to Minor Leagues. We have one spot open and we miss your banter.

Ownership has a say in that, right?   Will you have a say if WifS changes your home park?   I think not.

This is pretty simple.    It's a dynasty game.  Don't change my dynasty for me.

Okay, so maybe HBD makes it possible to PICK the stadium? Leave Florida (dolphins stadium), Metrodome, and Shea available to the current owners but with a "would you like to upgrade to Miami/Citi-field/Target". Also, while it's supposed to be our dynasty we are still not the "owner". When you start with a new world you get a message from the owner. I doubt they consult the managers/GM/VP's on stadium changes. Either way...those places need to be available.

Who do you answer to when you play the game?

Mostly my wife. I answer to her in everything else.

I sent in a ticket questioning minor league ballparks.  No matter what city Ive played in, the minor league parks have all been the same.

You're welcome!

Then you're the owner.    Except for your balls.

I can definitely appreciate the sentiment here, but there is precedent.  I've played in Philly in one world for the past 16 seasons and somewhere along the way they changed its park effects (fewer HRs, more singles, I believe).  Not drastic changes, but changes nonetheless.  So they have done it in the past.

I don't doubt they have.   It was mentioned that they'd update parks periodically in one of the chats.  I objected in a ticket(I think) with the same argument I made here.  They said they might reconsider.   Which usually means "OK, go away".

I am curious to see if they ever install the ball humidor in Colorado for HBD.
