Would it be cheap to throw the champ game in conf. Topic

Im most likely going to make the NT but I have no one else in the rest of my conference who will and I was wondering if people would be mad if I throw the conference championship game and let the other team win so we could get a second team in the NT.

A. It is cheating and should not be tolerated

B. It is a stupid idea but its up to you to put a risk of maybe not making the NT

C. It  is a move that people would get mad but would be acceptable

D. This is a great move for me and the conference

Choose one please. (This maybe a stupid question but just want to get peoples opinion if I did it)

A. not only should it not be tolerated, it is against the Terms of Use.

This isn't multiple choice -- A is the only option.

C...I've considered this as well...hopefully the sim ai's? A team would be good enough to beat your B team...I wouldn't have broadcast this if I were you though, but I'm in your corner phillyboy...I'd do it, but then again I'd probably rather win the CT as well.  I'm fine with it though.

You know how you stop this to begin with?  Give regular season conference champions the auto-bid.

well, we already know [strongly suspect based upon previous statements] you don't think much of the Terms of Use, so I guess this isn't a surprise...

it's d3-- would you really consider taking any chance on losing your autobid (or good seeding in the NT) to let in a 100+ RPI 16-seed who's going to lose in Round 1?

you'd get $250 for recruiting for your effort, if you both made the tourney, but you'd hurt your own chance to win games, improve team prestige, and potentially earn even more postseason money. seems silly, beyond the fact that it's obviously cheap, and likely hurts a human user elsewhere by taking away their bid...

It is distinctly a violation of the Fair Play Guidelines, so no surprise that colonels thinks it's fine...

I didnt know it was written as a violation. I also might possibly do it cause I dont know how long I will stick with that team and wanted to give another team a chance to help themselves. I also wanted to be nice to my conference but it is a dick move.

Collusion includes any act that supports bad, deceitful or illegal behavior agreed upon by two or more users. Here are a few examples:

...

Intentionally throwing a game to ensure another team improves its chances for a post-season bid.

That seems pretty explicit to me...

Fair Play Guidelines can be hard to find.  Now you've been directed to them, so you better change that stance of "I also might possibly do it..." or risk having your account canceled.  You can't plead ignorance anymore...
