Was just reading a thread from a newbie Coach reaching out loooking for mentors, and emy1013 asked the OP why he spelled his name backwards as his user name. Got me thinking as to why some people have the user name that they do. Yeah, it's kinda off-base but why not freshen the Forums up a bit? I really enjoyed the thread I did on where Coaches dream jobs were, so this should be fun.

Mine is pretty simple-"p6453"
p is the first letter of my name, Paul...While "6453" spells "NIKE" on the phone. I used to be a Team Sales Rep for Nike a long time ago and my clients usually called me "Mr. Nike".

My initials are DAC. That was my nickname all through high school. When I first got on the internet in 1996 (Prodigy, btw) I tried various DAC permutations but they were all taken. I am also a "junior" so I tacked on a "j" - still no good. Then it offered me variations of dacj with numbers after them. I figured I'd never remember random numbers. At the time Levis button fly 501 jeans were the rage. The commercial was on tv all the time ("Levi, button fly 5 ohhhhh 1 jeans *music*) so I figured I'd be able to remember 501 and added that to the dacj. I've kept the name as I got new ISPs and new emails to make it easier for friends to keep up...

On one forum - in this case a literature forum - I use the handle "Art in the BLood" (Sherlock holmes quote) "Art in the blood is liable to take the strangest forms" - after that, all my screen names anywhere tend to be variations on that.  A_in_the_b, Arssanguinus ...

My friends actually call me Raucous.  I answer to it like you would Paul.  So I just use it here.

My high school was the Blackhawks (Indian tribe, not birds).   That name was taken so I went with a different color..green

I have two IDs.

My main is Caesari. I wanted to simply be "Caesar" when I joined WIS, but it was taken. So, I tacked on the "i" because I liked how cee-ZAR-ee sounded. 

This account is based on my wife's lower school obsession. When she was 7 or so, she decided she wanted a hyena, and wouldn't shut up about it. So, her dad (an avid hunter) brought home a dead one from Africa and mounted the head, which scared my wife to death. I thought it was a hilarious story, and she has a letter she wrote to the hyena, reading:

     "Dear Hyeena,
I hope you are okay with my house. It is nice, but not big. I wish you weren't dead, then we could play and laugh.

Love, 
Bekah"

I thought it was a hilarious story, and since the name "hyena" was taken, I decided to use the way she had spelled it in her letter.

By the way, I am stealing this idea for the GD forums.
