Now, without seriously comparing them they are pretty similar players in talent level. In the beta, I certainly didn't:

try real hard
recruit efficiently
know what the hell i was doing

I signed this guy without any competition and for one HV.

I am also recruiting a D2 and D1 player who haven't signed with me yet/

So what's your point Trenton?

You can make your own conclusion but I would say that the at least the recruiting/scouting budget is about right.

if that is a Beta Freshman compared to Junior in the old system..I see no correlation to budgets.....matter of fact the freshman seems close to equal to a junior you scouted and signed

Yeah but say you land that D1 player... If I am at D3 now, I am telling you I wait on all D1 players and sign them late.

They will be the same player when they max out (or get to close it).

I hope that is one strategy as opposed to THE strategy.

I just signed two D1 guys. Incredibly easy.

I didn't even need to use any recruiting money to get one..

This is one I disagree on... I don't think these d1 players are going to be that easily obtainable moving forward. Again, remember seble accelerated a lot of this first season and many coaches didn't get to scout as thoroughly as they typically would. That with the fact everyone is trying to learn as we go will eventually go away too. I could only see about 10 recruits per open schollie if you scout them to get their potential. I hope budgets see an increase

And as far as these d1 projected (ranked)players go. Again, I have players currently in all 3 worlds where I'm competing in d3 that are better or will be than the 2 guys I just landed in beta!
