Even if we did want it WIS doesn't have the budget to pay people to code an engine that deep.

I did not miss the point, I was making a smart *** comment. I think you are far too caught up on the time aspect of this game. Obviously there are unrealistic time constraints when you are compressing an entire basketball season into a few weeks. Obviously in real life coaches don't stay at their job for 40 seasons. I think what most people are looking for is a way to achieve realistic outcomes within the constraints of a compressed schedule and the games framework. Surely you can see the difference between striving for realism in outcomes and pushing the black and white, all or nothing, either is is perfectly realistic or screw it all attitude that you have been espousing?

Ah, I see. Realism sometimes but not when it doesn't work for you.

Got it. End of discussion. Have a good day.

I think what he's trying to say here is that only a sith deals in absolutes. We're on to you, Mike.

Nah, what he's saying is we want realism except when we don't. Which is what I knew anyway.

But you will find it funny that I had to look up "sith". I never watched Star Wars.

I find people who watch tv a lot, watch reality tv shows, and don't listen to the alternative media or radio incredibly stupid.

This upsets me so much. Treat yo-self, Mike.

No idea if you're taking a shot at me or mbriese but it doesn't really matter. I find anyone who thinks people on the internet value their opinions of people's real lives delusional. A person on a message board could be exceptionally smart or incredibly stupid. They could be posting from their mom's basement or from a yacht in the Bahamas. They could be a superhuman physical specimen or a fat, disgusting slob. You don't know.

I'M A COWBOY!!!
AND AN ASTRONAUT!!!!!

Prove I'm not.

It just wasn't for me. Now it's like a Badge of Honor. "Yeah, I've never watched Star Wars. Look at me."

Mike : What about new D1 coaches? They have to do it in the second session.

I get that it sucks. I used Dean Smith and Coach K as examples in one of MonsterTurtles' threads. Look up their first 3(Coach K) and 5-6(Smith) seasons. They're lucky they weren't fired. New coaches have to deal with players they didn't recruit and fight thru a few seasons. Now, if you want "realism" it's what you get.
