Compare the intensity of how good you feel when you win the dice roll for a player where you have less than 30% chance to how bad you feel when you lose a player to someone else who had less than 30% chance?

bigger when you win or when you lose?

Oh much bigger when you win. Say what you want about the flaws of the current system, but it makes for a huge rush when it actually works in your favor. I'm sure I'm not the only one who goes into every battle that includes RNG with immense pessimism, right?

Losing always sucks more than winning feels good. That's why people come here to say "I've lost 6 rolls in a row!!!" No one says "I've won 6 in a row!!!" They just keep their yap shut.

For me,

Losing always out weighs winning, no matter how the win or loss happened.

It's classic compulsive gambler. The wins are never fulfilling enough.

And not true Mike - I created a thread where I won a guy with like a 17% chance. I bragged and bragged and bragged.

Well, I rambled on about my 32% win. But most people would rather complain than acknowledge the win. There are a lot more threads that go like this "LOST ANOTHER MOTHERF'ING ROLL!! I WAS FAVORED 70/30!!!!! THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!! FIX THIS OR I'M GONE!!!!"

I will say as far as the EE thing goes- keeping a guy who should have gone EE isn't 'exciting' or anything. It's like, 'oh wow, I got lucky there. yay'.

I'm super happy when I win, constantly looking at the odds that I overcame to win the player. When I lose I just let out a silent F bomb and move on.

I know what ya mean here, I do the same thing with close games. If I win a close one I'll keep looking over the box score and soak it in. If I lose I'll look at it once and then want nothing to do with it because looking at it makes me angry.

I'm far more ****** when I lose, and I imagine most people feel that way. The lucky win, I shrug my shoulders, say it's a trash system and move on. More importantly for the game, people remember the unlucky losses more than lucky wins -- it's science. Which is one of the reasons why the system is dumb.

I get ****** when I lose to someone who got a favorable roll. I am not that pumped when I win causw I expect to when I am at VH and if I lose to vh, it's allright.

I like winning....if I lose, it just means I can recruit more!

Winning feels better.

If I am at High and win with 30% then it becomes an unexpected victory. Feels like finding that missing $50 from last years birthday gift. Sure you wrote it off as bad luck in losing it and expected to survive before you found it. Now Life Is SO MUCH BETTER and maybe I Get a little excited trying to think about how to use it.

When I have the 70% it sucks when I lose but the pessimist in me says "Figures. Could you have done more to push them to moderate? Think about it". Losing is a chance to re-evaluate my team and decide the next move.

People will tend to remember losses more. That doesn’t mean the system is “dumb”. It’s a competitive game. Someone is always going to lose, whether it’s a recruit or a national championship game. The people who can’t tolerate losing aren’t going to like a *whole lot of things* about this game.

If you can't tolerate losing, even when you think you should win, break out the xbox and play Madden on rookie. You'll win every game 88-0 and be one happy m'fer

Or suck it up and accept that the world isn't paved with golden roads with free bubble gum at the bus stops. .
