Take Two Draft Topic

I haven't run my own theme league in a while, so I figured I'd throw my hat back in and see if there's any interest.

This will be a 24-team league with a two-round serpentine draft. Each owner will draft one hitter and one pitcher (doesn't matter which round you draft either in). The hitter and pitcher you draft will be exclusive to you. The catch is that you MUST draft the two most expensive seasons of each player's career. You may only draft those two seasons for your two selected players.

NOTE: If a player's two most expensive seasons in WIS are actually from the same real-life season, with two different teams (see: Bill Bernhard), you will draft his most expensive of those seasons, and then his next most expensive season from a different year.

You will fill out the remainder of your team as you see fit. The players you draft will determine how much you have to spend on the remaining 21 roster spots.

$120M Cap
NO DH
NO AAA
NO WW
NO Clones (outside of your two drafted players) EDIT: You can ONLY draft the two designated versions of your drafted players. You cannot clone them beyond that.
NO Trades
YES Injuries

You may use any ballpark.

Wow -- I am getting so lucky with these drafts recently. I have a few players in mind and will make my pick tonight after doing a little research
11/15/2018 2:30 PM
^ Like that guy needs any more luck ...
11/15/2018 2:34 PM
I'm not sure I'd want to pick first. You have to decide whether you want to go hitter or pitcher, knowing that 23 of the option you don't choose will be off the board before you get to pick again.
11/15/2018 3:15 PM
I think I’d like to be in the top 5-6 at least.
11/15/2018 3:23 PM
well this went from cool I wonder what sort of strategies everyone is going to use to woohoo get to mess up quickly!
